How we make money

FundSpeed is free to use and has no paywall, no forms and no sponsored rankings. Here is the honest version of how the site pays for itself.

Affiliate commissions

Some of the "Visit lender" links on this site are, or will become, affiliate links. If you click through and go on to take a product, the lender may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing: you pay the same as if you had typed the lender's address yourself.

As of 7 September 2026 we are newly launched and in the process of applying to lender partner programmes (several lenders on this site run them, including iwoca, Funding Circle, Capify and Fleximize). Until a programme accepts us, clicking through earns us nothing at all. We list lenders on merit either way: Start Up Loans, for example, has no commercial programme and is here because it belongs here.

What commission never changes

• What we write. Every page keeps its "watch out for" section regardless of any commercial relationship.
• The order lenders appear. Listings are grouped by product type and ordered editorially, never by who pays.
• Who gets listed. Nobody can pay to be added, and nobody can pay to have a watch-out removed.

Click counting

When you click "Visit lender" we count the click through our own redirect so we know which pages are useful. We store no personal data: no names, no IP addresses, no cookies. Details in our privacy note.

If we ever add sponsored placements

If we ever sell a "featured" slot it will say sponsored on it, in plain sight. There are none today.
